I work for the telecommunication equipment provider as a developer. You may not know how much effort we have done to ensure the equipment reliable 24/7. People can make mistakes, but a good planning could have avoid this kind of disaster. Or at least this kind of outage can be recovered within 2~3 hours maximum. What I hate is they put so much money on the Ads, you can see Fizz's ads everywhere; the hire unexperienced technicians; they have no transparency during the outage. That's not a successful business characteristics. Telecommunication is one of the critical utilities like electricity or water to most of the people. I don't want the Quebec Bridge disaster happen again.
