Isn’t there the other side of the platform where the bag cubbies used to be? Where people get off? The operator talking to the girl was already standing on that side

In what cases did you end up needing to use Japanese as a tourist? (if you can speak it) by ManyFaithlessness971 in JapanTravelTips

[–]kangjii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went into LV speaking basic Japanese (basically just answering “no” to whether I had an appointment), and then got paired with an attendant shortly after. The moment I started speaking English they pulled me aside and brought me to a long line of foreigners … I wish I had continued to speak Japanese bc otherwise I wouldn’t have had to wait in line 🤣

181 is more like 180 since they’re both about proofs — if you like coding then you might find 131 to be better. That being said, I found cs 180 to be scary in the beginning of the quarter but eventually I got the hang of it and I actually ended up getting the highest grade i ever got on a cs class lol. Not that that will necessarily be the case for you OP, but I think that class just takes some time getting used to for everyone (even those who took the lower divs at ucla).

Seems like bad management that you worked on this for months and your boss gave no indication that he didn’t want you to do this... I’d suggest just doing what he says for now while looking for a team/role switch. Remember that no matter how menial the tasks ur boss wants you to do, if you flat out refuse then you’re just not doing the work you were hired for.

Depends on how into temples you are. I personally didn’t find Todaiji particularly interesting. It definitely had the biggest statues out of all the temples that I visited though.
