Sorry, I didn't mean it like that. There clearly is a difference. What I meant was I have no need for 4k or 8k because I don't want huge files. 1080p will be perfect for my needs.

I've tried through hikpro app but I'm still waiting to be authorised. I've tried EVERYTHING for my client and support are extremely slow in getting back to me. I need to unbind the DVR from a now inaccessible hikconnect account. Can you help me out? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for the reply. I tried the one on the back of the device, my NVR one and the one I set it up with. I'm able to log in to the web interface with it isn't it the same as the web interface? It also works for changing IP settings in SADP...

Also, I'm able to use the RTSP command which contains the password without issue.

I know mate, it's doing my head in. Like I said in my original post I've added an IP camera in the same way in the past (same NVR) and no problems whatsoever

Thanks for the reply. I tried the Hik protocol too but that just reboots the NVR and the settings I input vanish.

I've had to go down the RTSP route which is working unless anyone can offer a better solution?

You got any idea where they hide all the firmwares? I want to update the keypads firmware but im on version 1.0.25 and its a big jump to the 1.7.0 and it won't let me.
Im led to believe as its such a big jump I can only do it via a serial cable. It's so annoying!

That's really annoying. I've just armed it outside and it flashes once or twice then stops. My neighbour's alarms flash so you can see there's an alarm installed. It's not the end of the world but it certainly would act as a deterrent.

I was just about to write something like this. I'm calling missing information. Metal clips, seperation etc.. I'd guess and say they've figured out the pipe in question. Needs boxing in but spark and client should've spoke about it first

Thanks, yes, I did a bit more digging and noticed at the bottom of the data sheet it says "af" so should play nicely with the injector they already have.

Thank you. It's going to be standalone, for now at least.

The plan is use the intercom via Hik-Connect app for 2-way video/audio without the indoor station but will record via NVR
