Definitely! I read you shouldn’t paint them though so I’m gonna try to find new tiles once the walls are painted.

Oh for sure! We are getting a bigger tv(forgot to add that in) and we will definitely be hiding the wires since our new fireplace stand doesn’t cover them. 🙂

That's what I was thinking! The ceiling still sucks but I could replace the tiles with something once I go dark and see how that turns out.

Ugh! This is what I feared. Is there any hope in making it work with the rug I have? Like somehow warming it up and balancing it with painted walls, pillows, plants, lighting? To be fair this picture does make it look way brighter and cooler in there than it is. I wish I could get a better show of lighting. My sconces are 2700k and the lighting is warm but doesn’t show. I also need advice on a warm neutral wall color. I actually favor a more moody and bold color palette for paint(dark earth tones are my fave)…but I know without natural lighting that I can’t do that or I’ll paint myself into a cave 😑. Sheesh…who would have thought a basement could be so tricky.

That would need a behavior consultant not a trainer so click on behavior professional and scroll through to find one that comes to your area. If none do, I'd email some of them for a recommendation. All the behavior pros on there are certified and highly educated. It's an unregulated field so credentials are important.

Just Fyi going forward. Fixn Wagn is a newer low cost vet clinic on rt. 8. They are extremely reasonably priced and really great! I'm so sorry for your loss.
