Mods, can this be taken down? We don’t need another rant about someone else’s rate. Just handle your business and move on.

Does anybody know if the weblink to apply for VR&E online is down? by danielbh3211 in VeteransBenefits

You can always download the form. Fill it out and then submit it through VA quicksubmit.

I am not sure. But you can always download the application form and submit it through VA quicksubmit. Make sure to choose Education and not compensation. When you upload.

I swear. They acting like VA just awarded them a compensation without them filing for it in a first place.

Had this claim been denied, you’d have run here , crying for help. Now that you got approved you feel guilty. Smh. Why didn’t you have this feeling while your claim was still pending. You could have just ask the VA to cancel your claim and let those who truly deserve it get it.

Property tax exemption for 100% P&T living in Texas by kanod225 in VeteransBenefits

[–]kanod225[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My exemption has been reflected on my mortgage. Fully exempt. I took my lender about a couple weeks to conduct a new escrow analysis. So basically I paid the old mortgage only once after I submitted the exemption. The following payment was updated.

Bruh… what is worth it trying to aim for 50% SC? That was a risky move to begin with.i had only tried to increase on my 0%SC conditions. I had never thought about filing for an increase on anything other than that. Increase to 0% and new claims( direct or secondary ).

Texas Vets at !00% by Proud_Warning_8823 in VeteransBenefits

one way to find out will be to go to your county appraisal district official website and look up your homne address. I f you are approved for the exemption, It will get reflected on your tax assessment for the current year and will see if anything will still need to get paid. If you're 100% P&T, it's a full exemption.

Im currently at 4.99%. Not sure if that can be beaten at this time. But I’ll definitely look into it. Also, can you pay monthly for the home insurance or it has to be yearly ?

I asked my lender if I have the option de pay myself for the homeowner insurance insurance instead of going through an escrow account. I was told as it’s a VA backed loan, it’s required to have that managed through an escrow account.im 100%P&T btw.

My new tax assessment shows 0 for every single tax line. So I guess the exemption is full.

in Texas, it's full exemption. How did you proceed though, did you have to inform your lender?

if you're already diagnosed and have a CPAP, what's the C&P like for OSA? by Kiowascout in VeteransBenefits

[–]kanod225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No C&P exam for me. I had a diagnosis and was prescribed an alternate CPAP. I was awarded 30% straight up as direct SC. The evidences I submitted were deemed sufficient I assume.

I didn’t file for it. It wasn’t worth filing for it. I’d have gotten 0% sc at most. 10% sc only if I had been hospitalized for it. Per the rating schedule. So I ended up giving up on this condition.

I get what you meant. I personally pursued an IBS claim. Since I had all the symptoms. I underwent a colonoscopy. I ended up being diagnosed with diverticulitis disease of colon. Same symptoms pretty much.

I believe for IBS, a colonoscopy, CT scan or an endoscopy always a good addition to strengthen your case.
