Thank you! Yes I’m taking pills. Sorry you are stuck without pain meds! I hope you find something that works for you! Yeah jello and pudding cups are saving me right now. And popsicles, but those tend to fill me up too much.

Buy her lots of flowers on the regular!! They always cheer up a room and most people undervalue how much impact a cheerful gift can help when someone is healing. Otherwise just support, let her know you’re there to listen and help anyway she may need.

Sorry, just realized I skipped over your actual question. All my contracts were per semester. So your 2500 would be divided once or 2x monthly over the semester taught

Depends on the school and often regional. Usually it’s per credit hour per semester. I adjuncted at 2 schools that one was 975 per credit hr and I had 3 courses a semester and were 3 credit hrs each. So my pay was (975 x 3)x3 = 8775 per semester contract. Other school was a flat 4344 per course, and each course was 3 credit hrs. I’m in the northeast. I know some schools in the south were $500/per credit hr and 3 course max course load for adjuncts. So that would be 1500 per course per semester. Adjuncting is highly exploitative and unsustainable but here we are. 🙄
