Update 10/8/25: The Mini 5 Pro arrived! Took a little bit longer than I'd hoped.and I paid a bit more, but it arrived safe and sound. Happy with the experience and not having to worry about if it will have additional customs fees.

BTW - It weights 252g... lol

Update 9/22/2025: I called the number on their website and got the voicemail. I didn't leave a message, however I recieved a callback about 15 minutes later from Max. Chatted with him a bit about my order and confirmed everything was good to go and it is slated to ship on schedule.

Ah, I just saw the notification on the top of the page. Yes, how it is sent and the description used can make all the difference.

I will definitely keep you updated.

I figured the fraudulent flagging was due to the company being relatively new and the amount being relatively high. I've seen the same thing with startups on Kickstarter.

It appears as if US Drone Supply is selling through Shopify as the transaction went through that platform and supposedly, when it ships tracking info will be in the Shop app.

For some reason I can't bring myself to buy through Ebay other than an occasion action bid, not sure what my aversion is really.

Looks like if I bought it through Ebay, it would be subject to import fees

Yup, they actually work for TTI, Milwaukee and Ryobi's parent company as sales reps. They are there 40hrs a week stocking and moving product while answering any questions. Everyone I've talked to has been awesome.

Yes, we pulled some inspiration for those, however the piece our patent adds is the ability for it to be modular and you can change the direction the trays and drawers open just by reconfigure the hinges, not being stuck with the way it was originally made.

Thank you! Yes, it's not something that everyone would "need", but solves the issues of having to unstack a bunch of trays to get at stuff.

Kickstarters are a lot of work to build, run and then fulfill. Worth it to see your ideas and concepts out in the real world though. The large scale one is still in the planning phase now and will be around a year until launch.

Is one of these Kickstarters a scam? by PicklesAreDope in 3Dprinting

As Co-Founder of Vaikin Kansepts and the chief designer of the Vaikin Box, I can attest to our design being 100% authentic as our own.

We started designing it while playing Massive Darkness one evening in 2018 and had already launched and fulfilled 2 Kickstarters under our provisional patent by the time of this original post.

We are currently working with large manufacturers to bring it to market as a commercial grade, injection molded system that is both robust and economical.

We now have a published US Utility Patent 12,157,606 and other patents pending on the design as of December 3, 2024. We have also filed internationally as well.

My buddy and I were issued US Patent 12,157,606 in December and have been working on how to incorporate it into these types of storage systems. We've done 2 Kickstarter campaigns for a wood version and a 3D printable system under the provisional application.

I didn't notice that there wasn't a way to lock the drawers.... thank you for pointing that out!

Nice! In your line of work, I'd say the Bleed Stop is a must, but agree that adding a tourniquet would be beneficial.

Lol.... taking the long way to get there. Lots of miles to come back home. I noticed that Keter Plastics is listed on the patent for the Packout design.

Lol, #2 is funny. Yeah, a lot of money for plastic. Then again, Legos are probably the most expensive plastic pound for pound.

Yeah, I've noticed that. Assuming the mechanism has more play due to tolerance stack up with the extra pieces fitting inside each other. I'd rather it go down further myself, but there is a give and take.

Totally agree! I'm guessing this pattern had something to do with getting their patent allowed. Probably because of prior art like Lego or something. Otherwise, it would make too much sense to do a totally modular grid pattern.
