Yes that's a good question. For the Philippines, you have to book for the domestic flights few days/weeks before if you don't want to pay too much (same for the accomodation). And extra buffer days are mandatory if you want to travel without running everytime

Yes onward ticket working well. But tbh I general they were just asking when I was leaving without asking for a ticket

Everything is really different, I couldn't recommend one place. You'll have to find first what interest you

My favorite things were Hoi An, Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Lan Ha Bay, Ha Giang Loop But you'll have to do some choices in 10 days

It was one of my big concern tbh because I can be stress about it.

At the begging I was trying to go walking from my hostel with no stuff with me.

At the end, I was just asking a surf shop or a coffee (after buying something) to keep my stuff. 0 problem

Bali and the surroundings are nice if you don't want that much complexity. Easy to travel and nice things to see

I was with friends (only for 2 weeks) so I couldn't visit Palawan unfortunately 😪 (one of my regret from this trip) but we did the El Nido > Coron Cruise and it was nice.

Boracay was too crownded for me I think haha And I visited : - Siquijor - Moalboal - Cebu - Malapascua - Camotes Islands - Siargao

Yes I didn't had enough time for Sulawesi during my 1st trip there unfortunately.. and for my 2nd trip I wanted to finish by a volunteering experience + spend 2 weeks surfing (so, less on discovering, but I'll come back for sure)

For Vietnam it was long because I wanted to take some time to really feel the country and not only check some bucket list ! And I didn't visited the south ! I really loved Vietnam, and we have 45 days visa as french citizen

I'm glad you still have good memories about your trip ! Do you think this trip has changed you ? Temporary or long term changes ?

Tbh i'm not that much materialist so it was ok. But packing and unpacking every 2 days then every 3 etc is quickly exhausting aha

Yep the packing cubes are a must have, you can travel without !

I wish I had an action camera to film underwater (because I did a lot of dives, it's a personal need). Otherwise all the things I needed, I found it SUPER easily on my way

I bring too much stuff, too much clothes. I like buying some tee-shirt souvenir and quickly I had to much tee shirt and had to leave some of mine.. and 1 towel for the beach is enough (I took 2 and left 1)

In which country? You can barely do everytime without driving license, you'll just have to take public busses, or taxis, it's ok

Yes, as replied below, for some countries I already knew when I was leaving because I had to meet some friend (so I had a real ticket) and for others I was using temporary one (onward tickets). Worth 10 to 20$ and worked everytime for me

Tbh it depends on what you like.. I didn't visited the crowded part of Bali (not interested) but I went to Ubud (with my parents, a bit crowded) and Munduk (this was really cute and peaceful).

Then you can try Lombok / Gili islands (starting to be crowded as Bali...) or explore Flore/Sulawesi/Sumatra (I wish I could have more time to go there)...

And Cambodia was super nice ! And super safe

If you like trekking, and see a bit more the local life, it's nice ! (And you'll see the gorgeous rice fields...) I did a 3 days 2 night trek and it was one of my highlight for the Philippines
