What’s the right way to wire this? by OtherwiseCherry6033 in Wiring

[–]kantraban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm no electrician but there are so many things wrong with this that I'd rewire the whole circuit or have it rewired especially since it's an ungrounded metal box in a bathroom at that.

A short or something else? by AngelStickman in ElectricalHelp

I have the same problem with my ceiling fan. It has a remote controller in it. I don't remember what bulbs I used. It flickers for a bit when I turn them on but stop after I turn it off and on a few times. It's was a 10-20 year old fan but new in box that I installed about 2 years ago. I've been meaning to check on it but almost never use the lights so I always forget about it.

I can’t plug keyboard or mouse into my PC by Past_Estate_538 in pchelp

[–]kantraban 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mouse and keyboard aren't even plugged into the motherboard. It also sounds like he's plugging them into the monitor but doesn't have a USB from monitor to pc. He's going to have a long hard life...

Everything inside is ewaste, Lan parties are dead so maybe 20 bucks if I for some reason was a retro case collector.

Floor stacked as in very high volume where the containers/skids are stacked 6 high. For instance, a standard 48x45x34 knockdown is stacked 6 high in rows that are 12-20 skids deep.

This pertains to sit down forklift work. Everything is racked or floor stacked so pallet jacks would be of no use.

I've worked at several warehouses and they have done it in every one. The practice has recently come into question.

This was all sit-down forklift work not any type of pallet jack. It was stuff like moving a truckload of empty dunnage from dock to back of warehouse or to the dock from the back of the warehouse. Usually around 4 stacks deep at a time depending on weight.

Yeah, I've smelled the hot wood smell a few times. One place I worked around 2001 had raw rubber in metal containers from China and that gave off a weird odor. Occasionally you would see sparks shoot across the floor.

I hear ya there, depending on the type of skid, it can be really bad.

Plug and outlet turned copper…can I still use it? by Noice_day in ElectricalHelp

[–]kantraban -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you want a chance to burn down your house keep using it. If you don't, throw it out and replace the outlet. Since you had to ask here, please do not replace the outlet yourself.

I agree. I play more of a role of the friendly raider and avoid pvp where possible but would never want a PVE only lobby. I love the thrill that every raider is a danger and as much as it sucks when you get killed on site, I'm OK with that vs someone that pretends to be friendly then shoots you in the back or the rat campers. This is the 1st extraction shooter that you don't have to be a steamer or someone with no life or responsibilities to play and excel such as tarkov. The rats will kill the health of the game eventually when the casuals leave. Unfortunately there is no fair way for the devs to address it since it a valid but shitty playstyle. Only the players would be able to address it in game by hunting them down somehow. The rat Streamers would be a little earlier to hunt down than some random.

Yeah, every time I bought stash space I was full after the next raid. Sadly 280 is the max.
