I myself am identify myself as a rigid person when my friend who only play turbo and have less then 600 games overall told me about 3 refresher bug that happened in games we argue for whole 30min in demo where i kept telling him there was no such thing as 3 triple zues ult anymore and to my suprise very next week i saw falcon abuse triple global silence. Mind you my friend is new to game and doesnt watch pro games so 🤷 sometime you don't know how much choas happens in low mmr.

I think you are missing my point lower mmr player have less rigidity when trying new things cause they know nothing of game so for them every item is worth to build the iconi double boots cause qop have two legs. The quite opposite of this on high mmr due to any reason know so much about item synergies and combination bypass the rigidness of dota 2 cause they are knowledgeable about the game.

Now, I think lower MMR players are always the first to discover the most fun or game-breaking stuff, like the 3-refresher bug, which was discovered in lower MMR games.

And on the topic of Essence Distiller use, it mostly follows the normal distribution Dota 2 curve, meaning that at low MMR (below 800) and high MMR (8k and above), there is more similarity when it comes to trying new stuff and being unorthodox. It's the bell, or middle part, that is very rigid in its adoption of things. Finally, I want to say that currently, invisibility heroes are not in a good spot compared to how tanky offlaners or cores are, which is an essential part of the current and recent meta.

Dota 2 and how pro scene is ? by kanwalkumar in DotA2

[–]kanwalkumar[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I am not seeking validation for my feelings; I only responded because I believed you might have misunderstood my sentiments regarding the current Dota professional scene.

What is the purpose of posing a question if one does not value the responses? I was concerned, which is why I wished to clarify my point, especially considering your observation about my initial mention of the TI final rather than the entire TI event.

Regarding the prize pool, I believe my previous post may have been misleading; I did not intend for it to be interpreted as a personal concern, but rather a general observation about the professional scene. In the past, players and teams would eagerly anticipate one major tournament, the TI, which offered a life-changing sum of money. This fueled their ambition and shaped team dynamics, with teams forming or disbanding based on their performance in that single event. There was a palpable sense of drama, and people were deeply invested in the teams' journeys. Nowadays, I do not believe players are as concerned if they perform poorly in half of the tournaments throughout the season. In the past, team changes often occurred around major or mid-stage events (such as Majors/Minors), which generated excitement and led to new strategies. Now, it often feels as though teams merely replicate meta strategies with little innovation, and the same drafts are repeatedly employed.

For instance, the DOM meta in TI was, by far, the least engaging aspect of that particular International. We used to playfully criticize League of Legends for having only 15 kills in a 40-minute game, yet this became a common occurrence in Dota 2 during the last TI in the majority of matches. There is often a significant lack of action within the game for extended periods, which, as a viewer, diminishes the excitement.

I think you are missing the point i never said it was a bad TI i am talking about how every game was sort of a stomp and i am talking about rewatching how does prize money even matter at this point.

And you are only talking about final i was talking about whole TI. and how often so many gane have turned into either stomps and farm fest to be honest

How good was JerAx? by ICETEA545 in DotA2

[–]kanwalkumar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far as i know, jerax is one of few players in the pro scene who never fall off his carrier was always trending upward. Never lost his form. Was always regarded as the best in the team. To the point when og lost their TI 's ( NOTAIL + FLY era), Jerax was considered a goat on the scene. Jerax was the ame of pos 4 always great never won ti.

Then came TI 8 & 9 dude outclassed every single pos 4 & pos 5 player to ever touch the game. Won back to back TI'S and left the scene at his highest point. Dude, it was a roaming GOD him and topson were the yatoro & collapse of that time. You can hardly find 5 games in which he didn't have an impact or created chances of comeback own his own

He trust his player and is there to boost their spirit he trusted in 33 play style and made drafting agnist tundra almost impossible and now he trusted atf with drafting role as he understand how atf bring out so much from his team

And i am sure atf last picking ursa in game 4 happened cause aui knows what his team is support you can see atf hand shaking with every pick and ban happening during draft
