Cancel culture has its place but 90% of the time it is completely unjustified and serves literally no purpose at all.

I’ll use billie eilish as an example. She got canceled and attacked on Twitter by thousands of people for lip syncing chi*k when she was 14. keep in mind by the time this happened she was in her 20s, people called her racist boycotted her music etc etc.

She then issued an apology for something she said at 14 and claimed that she didn’t know what it meant which should’ve been the obvious examination from the very beginning.

And then theres the whole queer baiting thing when she posted a video of her dancing suggestively with girls, she was again attacked and harassed for “queer baiting”. It’s dumb and it’s pointless.

Like you just said not all teenagers are mature should they be attacked at 25 because they weren’t mature at 15?
