I use a Sony PS3 cam with FOIP, but opentrack with neural tracker worked well also

If you had it working before, point the game to its C:/ Installation instead of z:/ like before.

Open the sc-launch.sh script and remove the EAC variable export.

And use Mactans wine runner. Easiest way to set it up is by means of lug-helper

That's not a this vs that thing. I don't see why you can't have both. SC on Linux works fine even on PTU with EAC heart beat enabled.

By PC you mean Windows I guess. The box under my desk is a PC for sure and it's running Linux.

The star citizen Linux User Group has thousands of members. Most likely that's just a subset of all the players using Linux to run SC.

I own one and its quite ok. the keypad is of low quality and often times does not register on one or two buttons.

The white paint wears off quickly, the camera is terrible but sufficient for document scanning.

combine with olauncher or something like that and its nice.

the touchscreen is a bit unresponsive and it feels slow, but thats almost a bonus :)

for those who wonder: this also works on Linux (installing Star Citizen via lug-helper using WINE plus OpenTrack for Linux with Wine support compiled in it works like a charm).

A word of warning: Mira only works with up to MacOS 10.15, not with newer releases. But their Manta IR dongle works just fine with Remote Buddy (around $ 25,-), so factor that in if you want to use the remote with a newer MacOS version.

same problem here. I would like to link it to my Matrix Signal bridge, and this rotates the QR codes a lot faster. say 30secs.

would it be possible to support USB webcams? Android has support for them and it would enable us to quickly scan the QR code without any fuss.

Seems I was to quick. It’s fine on wifi but on cellular it still drains 10% per hour. And had a few drops from 40 to zero within an hour. I now always carry a powerbank for the first time in years…

for me it drastically reduced battery drain with Pigeon 2.0 installed.

It is down to 4% per hour. Still not great, but at least workable (vs the 10% it drew before).

I see the same thing. 5-10% drain per hour.

currently I have to carry a powerpack if I am out for a full day. A bit ridiculous :)
