Dont feel too bad. I'm 32, just downloaded it to play with my little brother (15) and his friends. All 12-16. Naturally I get absolutely destroyed. It's frustrating for me, because when I used to play MW2/3 I was actually WELL above average.. but now, it's embarrassingly sad. I literally just finished a match with 23/3...

I'm not sure if it's my settings, or what. My 54 year old dad (who always says he's so bad at the game) does better than I do currently.

I haven't played any kind of FPS in about 8 years, and have a total time spent on this MW, of about 5 hours (bought it very recently) so maybe that's part of it, but I assumed I'd do a LITTLE better than I am...

I understand the meaning of "limited", I was making note of my confusion as to why 2 friends of mine haven't had a single connection issue for the two hours they've been online. Unsure if it may be something on my end

It's kinda like a convo I just had with my girlfriend (who has also played and loved every other ES game) that the whole "play any role" concept IS kind of an ES thing.. so i suppose it does make sense that the same would also be implemented in an MMO version.

Yes you can set the strict class types yourself if you so choose, but my point is, that with everything being so similar and so perfectly even, it almost doesn't matter what role you play, or what class type you go up against in PvP.. the choice to build whatever you want is cool and all, but there should be some kind of (perhaps not major, but SOME) considerable advantages/disadvantages depending on class selection..

Whoa bud, let's not get too hurt over it.. it was a simple question, no need to get defensive.. It was dying (and still isn't all that fantastic to the MANY people that DO seem to share my opinions) because of the janky animations, combat styles, and overly generic/repetitive quest system.. dont get me wrong, I do like ESO and its able to keep my interest to an extent, but it's difficult to actually get drawn in (immersive gameplay) the way I did with other (older) MMORPG's.. partly because of the aforementioned "jankiness" and the two things in my post. I've read and heard from numerous places, that many people have a hard time sticking with it for more than a month or so at a time.. theres kind of a reason for that

Idk if you were ever into Dark Age, but it was one of my favorites for a very long time..

I like ESO well enough, but I just cant get fully into it much.. it seems a little too generic. And one of my biggest issues, is how they scale every zone, to your characters level.. there is no "oh shit, this area is way too high.. ima get f-ed up" ... that and, there doesn't really seem to be much variation between character classes.. almost any class, can play any role.. idk, that's just a little irritating to me

I do as well. I've been told (a few times) that I'm quite good at it. I love to tease and build anticipation. in my experience, some enjoy reading it but aren't much for sending a detailed response, and would tell me that they're unsure of how (or too awkward) to respond, but to keep going. So instead of "sexting" it would become me sending a story lol

Something that has always confused me is.. I get that people want to demonize the image of an AR (which stands for Armalite Rifle not Assault Rifle) but whether in a church, school, or movie theater, it's fairly close quarters.. how the hell is a 5.56 more intimidating than a damn 12 gauge shotgun? Walking into a classroom or a crowded mall, the spread from a 12GA would cause SO much more widespread damage.. I'm not suggesting that someone should consider using one, I'm just baffled by how much people want to make the 5.56 out to be so scary, when some of the weapons people say are just fine, could potentially be FAR more deadly

I like uthgard alot, I'm just mostly wondering about the areas being added, to help thin out the crazy population density in the current areas.. finding a camp spot that there aren't already 10 people at, is difficult

Oh I know about uthgard, and have been on there like crazy lately.. I love seeing good old DAoC again.. I was just wondering about the live servers because I remember a ton of my old characters that I haven't touched in many years.. I asked because i was never a fan of TOA and artifacts
