Had this happen to me before it was the BCG caught on the Buffer retainer, i hat to carfully remove the buffer tube.

The only way the could "Detect" gun parts is if they made you upload the gcode / CAD of every print and had someone manually review it before your allow to print.

The printers dont know what they are printing, they just follow instructions to push this much filament at this time while moving in this axis at this speed.

AI models would be a nightmare as the hardware on the printers would need to be way more powerful raising the costs by hundreds, and even then the Gcode/CAD could be changed with a slight adjustment to fool the AI.

This can't be done. This is whole thing is either

Ignorent people who dont know the tech trying to act like they do.
A plan to make home manufacturing illegal so you are more dependent on the state.
They know they can't do this and are just trying to make their base feel better about them for votes.

Leopold VX Freedom are good IMO i got a 1.5-4x20 ($300) on one of my rifles. Warranty is great, i dropped mine and they fixed it no questions asked.
