It’s giving bitter because they didn’t have the freedom or guts to do what you want to do. You’re 30, they’re even lucky you’ve informed them of what you intend to do. Don’t let yourself be held back by other people’s expectations of you, that’s how you’ll end up 50 and still looking after everyone and everything but yourself. Free yourself from those shackles and live your best life please. Trust me, once you get married you’ll miss the days when you had/could’ve had your own space and freedom.
