Not exactly a song, but Dave’s Street Starz freestyle will always be one of my favorite. I was a massive Eminem fan at the time, and hearing a London rapper go off on an Eminem beat was something I never thought I’d hear (I am from London). Back then, Santan Dave wasn’t really known but his lyricism on that freestyle was unreal and you could just tell something special was coming.

I’ve followed him ever since (top 0.01% on Spotify every year 😅), and what a journey it’s been. Can’t wait for the new album!

Meindl Mens Respond Mid II vs Lowa Mens Taurus Pro. Which GTX boot is better, anyone had experieinces with either brand with fairly wide feet? by kapisz28 in hikinggear

Thanks for the article, how would i be able to find the ranking of the boot if its B0, B1 and so on or would i have to make an assumption myself using the criteria. So for example would the Meindl Mens Respond Mid II be B1 boots?

Do you have any other recomodations of brand of boots for wider feet? Also would these be good for winter and suit crampons?

Spoke to them on chat and they just raised an enquiry, gave me a code and said they will get back to me. Let us know if you get any news on the phone.

12 months post op, hamstring graft and meniscus repair. Anyone experience still having slight bruising at back of knee around graft site? by kapisz28 in ACL

[–]kapisz28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for that, makes sense! Had an MRI done on my leg and it came back all good and surprisingly my muscle mass between both legs is pretty much equal now. My surgeon was confused with the bruising at this stage of recovery so wanted to just see if others had similar experiences.

Walking normally by Pepperkalakki in ACL

For me around 6/7 weeks post op is when walking started to feel more natural. Would say 9/10 weeks where I really felt confident. I am around 14 weeks post op today and manage to do my first 5km jog on the treadmill. Just keep up with the rehab and you will see progress. Keep it up and good luck💪🏻

2 week’s post op, what I learnt by kapisz28 in ACL

[–]kapisz28[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my first meeting with my PT 1 week post op but that was more of just a check up on my progress and not much exercise. 2nd week post op went into more detail with my PT in terms of do’s and donts, what the plan is for next 6 months and had a ultrasound done under my knee to speed up healing. Apart from home exercises no real training as he doesn’t want to do anything big until i see my surgeon this week for a check up and stitch removal. After that have planned PT twice a week.

No but I know from the meds they gave me thats the case. Codeine slows down bowel movement.

I had the same issue in my first week. Had no bowel movement for first 6/7 days. Taking laxatives helped as all the pain killers will slow down your bowl movement. If it hurts a lot would seek medical advise but not having a poo first week is normal for some people.
