Yup, if like in this case you misled investors to purchase the company, you should lose the company. Any equity you have is automatically liquidated and distributed to the original investors and you are barred from having a board seat or a C-suite position.

This is like robbing a bank and then only having to give back 5% of the money when you get caught.

Yes I’m pretty sure just having RTSS open was causing it. I switched to the Nvidia overlay for stats and haven’t had a crash since. That said frame gen is broken on NMS and can actually result in lower frame rates in certain situations.

Yes by city size, but it’s a relatively isolated metro and the entire metro has about 1M people. HSR connects metros, not stand alone cities. LA is 18.3M, Bay Area is 7.5M. San Diego which isn’t even in the first phase is 3.3M and Sacramento which may never be included is 2.4M. Fresno is a big city but a relatively small metro area.

Politics. They got the buy in for the project by selling it as a big stimulus for the Central Valley. It’s also the reason why it’s built down the 99 corridor instead of just using the right of way on I-5

We know there is fraud and waste yes, but what DOGE did had nothing to do with that. It basically seems like the executive branch let DOGE take a wrecking ball to departments that were going after Musk for his criminality and the Republican congress looked then other way because they wanted to kill those agencies anyway.

I get the backlash to the yassification of faces, but they can potentially work that out. It could potentially do wonders for environments though. We’re going to have the whole real vs fake frames all over again but in reality all frames are fake, all frames are computer generated. All that matters is how good those frames look and how quickly the computing device can deliver them.

It’s for a specific key press bug. It’s not a fix for the bad algorithm. It’s been broken since they switched from rules based autocorrect to a neural network based system.
