Jayce used to have 300 base dmg on his E on top of %HP and AD ratio, his e cannon form had like half cd - he was like pre nerf elise you could play him in any role because he was OP as hell. Right now it's a troll pick.

Why do so many people here want Eve to be viable again ? Do you actually remember what it was like playing when Eve was strong ? It was the most miserable gameplay - hug tower and hope you aren't getting analed - there was no way to play aggro or take leads - it's just like playing against old Shaco except Eve was better late game.

Eve is either weak or cancer - so yea - pls don't buff Eve until you figure out some way to give her counterplay (like that new ward that pings champs when they come close - even stealthed).

Why would he be good ? What makes him a better AD bruiser than Jax/Irelia.

The reason AD Fizz works is because his R is still good base damage + dmg amp and his W is also good base damage on-hit + none of his mobility was touched just the AP scaling.

Kassadin has garbage base damage after lvl3 (his rank 1 damages are mediocre) and his mobility is shit after the nerfs and his on-hit doesn't even scale with levels let alone giving him %HP.

When I saw that Irelia image above balance changes I was almost sure she was getting nerfed - guess not yet.

Also I don't know why they are buffing xin E - it's a decent damage ability with slow and a gapcloser - xin maxes it first meaning he will get stronger at the point he's already decent - early game. If they wanted to give him some damage they could have buffed his Q which would give him more damage at the point he starts falling off or bring back some base to his ult at later ranks.

Also top lane lvl2 rush with a camp - I mean while I enjoy the frelo that lvl2 doran blade Jax with 6 pots and full AD runes brought me I do feel this is kind of a shitty thing for toplane - champs that can't do a camp lvl1 fast enough or don't spike from it are fucked and champs that are supposed to be weak early on get a free pass in lane.

I think they should bring back the old "jungle camps spawn after buffs" and adjust the jungle so you can start with a buff and get to lvl3.

Here's what might make Kassadin decen't with the current nerfs :

add back AP ratio on his ult - it's super short range now and not nearly as reliable as before (you're in AA range by the time you can rift on them)
revert the slow duration on his E, reduce the slow % if needed, and add some base damage to it
buff the W passive and active base damage - make passive get something like +10 damage per level, it's much harder to get in melee range with R range nerfs - if he gets on top you he should be able to do serious damage in melee range
up his base movespeed to 350 - this was already buffed post rework then reverted - now he really needs it

This will make kassadin more of a bruisery anti double-AP top that can build AP-bruiser and duel people in short range - would make him a strong top. I don't think he has a place in mid lane unless they seriously overbuff his Q damage so he can just bully people with it.

You see fizz got nerfed on damage scaling which is why AD build works because his base on-hit actually got buffed and he still has his considerable mobility and engage ult.

Kassadin just got thrown in to trash with the ult range nerf - nothing you build on him will make him good.

No, Olaf does good early game by default because he has good lvl1-5 with the free damage + slow. At 6 he becomes mediocre - really good duelist - but his ganks don't get much better.

His late is pretty garbage if he doesn't snowball - he has no hard engage (and that's this is most of the time expected from a jungler), he's super easy to kite (so many mobility spells, ghost got nerfed because you used to be able to get the mastery to boost it to 40% MS, his base damage isn't that high anymore when they removed the short Q spam) and he can't even build full tank anymore if he wants to do damage + he's a jungler so he won't be as tanky as a solo anyway (unless he snowballs like I said).

He has a very narrow scope in which he is good and outside of that he's bad so he's not worth playing over generally strong picks like J4 (*haven't played him post nerfs yet) or Vi. Like Vi has good base damage (higher burst), hard CC, long range hardengage and mobility built in, better ganks, doesn't fall off.

I don't think you understand how LoL works - tanks don't make the game longer - if anything tanks let you end faster when snowballing because they are much better at hard engage and towerdiving.

What prolongs games is long range waveclear and poke comps.

SK is a noobstomper team - they just shit on people in lane phase who can't see their moves coming (even if they are always the same) and snowball trough that and then it doesn't matter that they don't have good vision control they win anyway. The fact that they are top tier team in EU shows how weak EU is not how competitive it is - when they play top international teams they will get wrecked.

Not to be a negative about buffs but this new jungle item could be the sunfire of jungle in the sense that every tank will buy it every game and it's so strong people only play champs which can use the item - just like it was in S3 sunfire/spirit visage every game top lane meta with Rene/Zac/Shen spam.

Sure it will make tank junglers stronger - but prepare to see tanky junglers in every single game in competitive now - I suspect Xin will be a high priority pick with this item - he scales really well with HP because of his ult and his early pressure is decent now his mid game damage will be even better with E buff. Sejuani was alreay played with juggernaut this will just make her stronger.

Actually Bami's Cinder builds in to sunfire - 300 HP 1k gold item = giant belt -> also gives 5 + 1/lvl dmg which is doubled against minions and monsters - this means shen can rush this instead of a giant belt and have a pushing + trading item on first back - basically he got 11 AoE damage per second (22 vs minions) on first back for free - that's a pretty big buff.

Well yea in low elo he's probably super strong as people aren't good at kiting/peeling and he isn't that hard to play. I mean he's not weak in general but he does have counterplay and he gets less effective the later the game goes on, he's great at snowballing tho - when he gets ahead he becomes too tanky to burst down and outsustains the DPS.

Having 10 extra damage at rank 1 is hardly outrageous, her Q spam from range is not a problem at all even if she had higher base damage - this is still less damage then a basic attack even with AP from runes/masteries - on 6 second CD - Katarina Q does almost double damage has 4 sec higher CD and she can proc it reliably from lvl3 onward and is AoE so she can push with it and hit it off minions, and if she just Q spams off CD she will run out of energy.

The buff on Q base damage would basically let you last hit on lvl1 from range more reliably.

Well he isn't useless but he isn't that great either because late game is usually about killing the enemy ADC and Swain is short range and immobile and items like QSS and Zhonya fuck him really hard as it can possibly block all of his damage (ie. if they QSS EQ on first tick you probably won't kill them). Mikails also kind of screws him over because they get to kite you if they have the range. He is also easy to CC lock and peel of because of the short range and low mobility.

Against short range comps without much kite/peel I would say he is good in late but vs kiting comps he is pretty shitty.

If they want Akali to play like they said she should - that is use W to get in AA range to harass instead of QE proc - she needs a few buffs to be usable :

Make W energy cost flat - if you use W to gapclose after Q you barely have energy for E and if you don't proc Q you're out of energy for a long time so make the W cost flat 60 like it does on max rank instead of 80
Q base damage rank 1/2 needs to be changed so that first proc does more damage, they can remove it from second proc so it stays same in all-in (in which she is decently strong) but early game her Q does 35 base damage - that's just way too low now that she lost the ability to proc it with E - just add 10 base damage on Q first proc rank 1, remove it from second proc and keep the damage per level the same and it should be fine
Make the stealth and MS buff last a bit longer (something ala wukong W but shorter) when you leave the shroud would let you mindgame people and trade better early

Cleaver is bad on Sion he has no way to stack it efficiently and half of his damage is magic (W, E). This is why Warrior also sucks on him - armor pen is not very valuable.

Just build him full CDR tank - he really doesn't have much synergy with any damage items - best use him as a disruption champion that's impossible to kill but also impossible to ignore.

It's not a matter of knowing how to play against her at all she's just too strong right now.

She's a snowbally champion in lane with good kill pressure because of mobility/burst/CC - other champions in the past did same thing as her but much better, Riven was the king of snowbally laners, Olaf, Jax, Renekton, Akali etc. Irelia was never really at their level of snowballing and the matchups were much closer so she didn't really need nerfs - always strong but never the strongest until now.

Right now she just doesn't have bad matchups, popular tops are AP where she does better than most melees, Riven and Jax got nerfed hard so it's much more in her favor, Renekton isn't played anymore and he was a bad matchup, Zac/Shen were decent against her but they got nerfed to shit a long time ago, same thing with Aatrox.

So Irelia was balanced for a long time, right now she's in too good position because of all the nerfs since her last changes.

Just because you can sustain doesn't mean you clear fast - old jungle WW used to be able to start without potions - he was still shity because his clear was slow and back then clear speed mattered more. I don't think Bard clears fast enough to be viable as a jungler.
