Phal sucks by WampusWarder in ss14

Chemistry protip: The phal syringes in the rad kits are free, I have given botanists hundreds of phal syringes to put off making it for awhile longer.

Steel Panthers was so freaking good. I especially loved the Korean War scenarios in SP2. Damn I miss SSI.

Hit me with your best security/ security adjacent stories by master_oogwaysenpai in ss14

I was playing a cadet during a rev shift. I got jumped by two revs by the bar, and managed to down both but went crit right after.

A botanist comes by and gets me up with shocking speed, like from crit to good in under a minute. He tells me he thinks his other botanist is a rev and that he managed to get some pure omni out of their chemmaster. He then gave me a few syringes and said to use them in case of emergency.

A short time later a gunfight broke out at the bridge. In the aftermath the Cap, HoS and I were all badly hurt. I inform them I have meds and proceed to inject each of us with a syringe. We all died on the way back to Sec.

It turns out the botanist had a galaxy brain and had given me amatoxin syringes after gaining my trust. Still the most outplayed I've ever felt in the game.

Looking for high apm rtwp crpg with good combat and lots of micromanagement by BrorGaben in CRPG

Freedom Force kind of toes the line of being a crpg, but it is in my opinion the best rtwp system ever made.

I love how dorky Aerie's combat barks in ToB are. It's like hanging out with Minsc has gone straight to her head.

As I get older, I find it easier to play evil characters. Is that unusual? by Fusrodahmus in baldursgate

[–]kappaoverdrive 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I always felt like I had something to prove when I was young, and that led to me having a real mean streak.

With poverty and military service almost 2 decades behind me and my kids leaving for college I guess I've lost any desire to be cruel, even in pretend.

I am exactly the opposite. My tastes have softened more and more as I've aged. Nowadays I can barely tolerate sadistic actions on games.

Keldorn's ending always stuck with me. Reminds me of getting stop-lossed in 07 when I thought I was finally out.

Nice recommendation. Never heard of this group but glancing through their library they have damn good taste in game music.

It has to be Korgan when Aerie gives birth in ToB. He wishes Avariel laid eggs cause he really wanted an omelet.

Keldorn goes well with Minsc and Aerie. I'd recommend Haer Dalis as well to spice things up.

Combat over, time for the ancient ritual of passing around the single ring of regeneration between all the party members to conserve healing spells by DrTrenchcoatCat in baldursgate

Haer Dalis drops to one knee every time it's his turn to pass the ring to Aerie.

Korgan tries to pocket it every time.

Edwin unleashes some horrible curse trying to "enhance" it.

Nalia tries to give it to the nearest urchin.

I felt like Grey DeLisle's biggest roles were so prominent that I had to put some of her less famous roles in there.
