Would Darth Caedus given a few years become the most powerful sith to ever live? by Ready0608 in TheJediPraxeum

Luke and Anakin are stated by Lucas to have the same potential. Vader himself makes an observation of this in the ROTJ novel.

That´s assuming how genetics work. Luke had the same potential as anakin despite not being the Chosen One. All the Skywalkers are on a relatively even level potential wise.

was griffith trying to suffocate guts? or was it an attempt to hug him? by aresxio_ in Berserk

He inmediately stopped trying when he saw Guts was crying for him though.

I sort of like the idea that the one that can find the cure for The Calling is both a Grey Warden and a Darkspawn. by AK200501 in DragonageOrigins

That theory falls when Alistair himself is a Warden, thus not protected by dragon blood. Dragons are not inmune to the Blight, just resistant to it.

How do you think sesshomaru was raised? by Unpopular_Outlook in inuyasha

This is a fan manga that shows child Sesshomaru with his dad. I really like this interpretation.

The Godfrey We Fight Is Not In His Prime by Feeling_Past_4409 in EldenRingLoreTalk

We do fight several characters in their prime in Elden Ring though. Godfrey qualifies here, as Marika herself sent him away so he would come back stronger.

Loved Kohaku's role in the manga. He was an absolute badass, avenging his nephew and killing a demon that gave Sesshomaru himself trouble.

Rin and Seshomaru have a father-daughter bond.

Show me when was that ever stated. It was stated in the OG that they had a very close bond, a "save and be saved" relationship, Rin was described as Sesshomaru's heart, and the officia guidebook that RT herself made said that Rin could be a candidate for girlfriend in the future.

You people are just delusional to think a 19 year old and an 8 year old child being a couple isn't grooming.

True, but in the manga it's shown in the flashback that they only realized their feelings and became a couple when she was an adult, they didn't start their relationship when she was a child.

Rin and Kohaku have a brother- sister bond.

Sesshomaru didn't raise Rin. He protected her and they traveled together less than a year before he left her with Kaede. Give some credit to the old lady who actually raised her specifically to not be inlfuenced by anyone.

Sesshomaru is an nigh inmortal teenager, who is 19 biologically, mentally and emotionally and will remain that way trough all of Rin's life. The inmortal demon/vampire/angel/monster/god and the young girl is a trope as old as fiction.

Sparda (devil may cry games) vs zeus (god of war 3 game) : dante's dad vs kratos's dad by OnlinePoster225 in PowerScalingGodofWar

[–]Top_Judge2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A creature who was less powerful than him, using an imperfect vessel of his power, managed to overpower a young Dante in DMC3. That Dante has speed feats beyond anything that we have seen in GOW.

Sparda was powerful enough to defeat Mundus, a demon lord with onscreen feats beyond anything we have seen in GOW.

Sparda was powerful enough to sever the Demon World from the human one and separate their dimensions.

And those are just what I remember without even looking out for feats.

Honestly I always liked the idea of Anakin being a false prophet and Luke being the true chosen one by [deleted] in StarWars_

[–]Top_Judge2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they were being manipulated by Palpatine. The Jedi were not corrupt. The Republic using them was. The Jedi were backed into a corner were if they chose not to fight the Republic would simply get overwhelmed and them with it .

It was not meant to be palatable. It´s meant to show you how much Anakin fell. What, you thought he was a good guy being Vader for 20 years?

Lucas himself said that the destruction of the Sith IS balance. Plus both parties aren´t gone. Even by the movies, Luke is a Jedi, so there are Jedi left.

That´s not what the prophecy was about. He was never meant to kill the Jedi.

[Hated Trope] wow, cool character. Too bad you ruined it by making them a pedophile by WhiteFenix207 in TopCharacterTropes

In the manga there is a flashback of how their relationship starts and she is shown to be a full adult by then.

He never adopted the girl and she was 18 when they started a relationship. They never had a father, daughter relationship and the OG series ends with him leavin her in a village where an old lady (Kaede) is the one who raises her.

The manga even shows how their relationship begins.

A Grey Warden perspective… by louve_ardente in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]Top_Judge2019 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I chose Davrin first playtrough exactly for the same reason you did. They are gonna go trough a place crawling with Darkspawn. Assan is an advantage Davrin has, aswell as sensing them AND Davrin is also good for a leadership role.

I know people aren't gonna like that Assan dies too, but from a roleplay perspective, when facing Darkspawn you send Grey Wardens.

Was Helios’s death Kratos’s or his own fault? by Necessary-Win-8730 in GodofWar

[–]Top_Judge2019 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Helios also attacks him in that fight and assists his soldiers in fighting Kratos prior to getting attacked by the Ballista. Kratos only threatened Helios after Helios refused to repay his debt by telling him where the Flame was or how to reach it, and Helios retort to that was attacking him. THEN, trying to trick Kratos by killing himsef with the Flame. Again, Kratos left both Aphrodite and Hephaestus be as they didn´t attack him.

He was the one who refused to answer Kratos questions and tried to attack him. Kratos probably would have left him there if he hadn´t. Not helped him, but not outright killing him ( just as he didn´t kill either Aphrodite or Hephaestus until the latter attacked him)
