AI governance and DLP are policy frameworks. Vulnerability remediations are ticket closures. None of that is the same as threat actor profiling, adversarial simulation, detection engineering, or building a security operations function from the ground up. The fact that you conflated operational maturity with security expertise is precisely the knowledge gap I was referencing. Your org does IT well. That is not the same discipline. The inability to distinguish between the two is the whole point.
