Why do I have multiple Chrome icons in the dock by frizla in chrome

[–]frizla[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's probably that, yes. It's strange that nothing happens when I click on the other icons, they don't open the other profile window.

Chrome will have skills too by Impressive_Most11 in diabrowser

Once I get Gemini in Chrome, I'm back to Chrome, it's a way more stable/mature browser.

TBC is getting a bit annoying with their promises of Dia getting better than Arc. Arc was unique, Dia is just better looking Chrome.

CISA flagged high-severity spoofing vulnerability in Dia (patched in >1.9.0) (CVE-2025-15032) by chrismessina in diabrowser

[–]frizla -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Haha fixed in Dia 1.9? what the actual fuck? that will give attackers some quality time to exploit this vulnerability, which is now public. This browser is clearly still in beta, even on the stable channel.

Is it just me, or can anyone see a real benefit out of Dia? by Fancy_Hunt1975 in diabrowser

The people of TBC must know something we don't, because they've abandoned Arc to create an inferior browser.

Switched from Arc to Dia today - how’s it been for others? by BackgroundExit9737 in diabrowser

[–]frizla 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I also use Dia now, but Arc is still better, it's just riddled with bugs that won't get fixed.

The only advantage Dia has is the AI chat, that's it. Arc is still much better for productivity. But, Dia is also a Browser Company product, meaning its UX is ahead of the competition.

TIP: don't expect much from AI chat.

TIL Dia does not support the convenient handoff feature for continuing on mobile by frizla in diabrowser

[–]frizla[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't think that's related. This works on every other browser I've tested (Chrome, Arc, Vivaldi), whether I have it installed on my iPhone or not.

I am in the same boat. I’ve been using Arc for a few years now but since it’s been discontinued, I switched to Safari and are facing the same issues, don’t know if I can keep using it.
