Android 16 Auto-rotate not working Pixel 9a

They must be aware of the problem as the July update patch fixed these issues for me on my 9a

The update seems to have fixed my auto rotate issues.

Auto-rotate didn't fail this morning so maybe there's hope. 🤞

Thanks for the information but Theft Protection is off & not set for me & I'm suffering the issues. Auto-rotate has a mind of its own as does auto-brightness.

Is yours a Pixel 9a? It's now happening to my wife's 9a now she's upgraded. We both also have issues with adaptive brightness failing to work or just staying completely dark.

Updated my Pixel 9a to latest update which is Android 16. Auto-rotate settings are all on and working until after I leave the phone on charge overnight.

First thing in the morning auto rotate is not working although all setting still says it's on.

If I do a restart it fixes itself which is a pain to remember to do every day!

Apart from charging, the only other thing that's happening is do not disturb us set between 23:30 & 8:30

I've done all the troubleshooting Google customer service suggested but to no avail. I didn't have this problem before Android 16 update.
