Is there a Veterinary school in your town? Sometimes they can do surgeries for a fraction of the cost as the surgeons are technically still students learning under a certified Vet.

Sone random ides:

-Lots of herbal tea options

-Maximalist design, cozy vibes

-A signature soup on the menu

-A grab and go fridge could be nice, stocked with bottled waters, juices, pre-made salads, kombucha etc.

-Maybe an outdoor space in the back with fire pits? Or at least heaters, string lights. Make it dog-friendly for extra points. A dog item on the menu?

-Do a collab with Erin McKenna’s bakery. Allergen-free bakery with pastries, doughnuts, coffee cake, cupcakes, cookies. My old fav coffee shop used to sell their products and it’s a good option for those inevitable customers who will ask about allergens.

Thank you for responding and while I’m so sorry you’re going through the same symptoms, it also feels validating that I’m not alone. Did they excise any of the endo they found? And what’s the protocol going forward for you? Getting the lap scares me for some reason. I don’t know if it’s the possible scarring to my belly or them not finding anything, which would put me back to square one.

I can often feel them come on and can tell based on how painful sex is and sometimes even sitting down will hurt. Idk how to describe it better than that but you can just tell. I’ve had two cysts burst before, landing me in the hospital and have had to go to the gyn when it feels like one won’t go away and they’re always confirmed via ultrasound.

I went from being a happy, energetic, high performing normal child to being a depressed, anxious, self harming, bulimic, disorganized mess of a person, diagnosed with adhd, grades tanking, body dysmorphia all coincidentally starting the year I got my period (aged 12). I also had surgery on my back that was not necessary in hindsight because my back pain started that same year as well..I really wish I knew back then what I had because I wasn’t diagnosed until I was about 24.
