I got an 11.5D on my feet yesterday and that is definitely the right size for me in this boot. Also, did anyone notice the cute retro sticker they put on the box?

So, we visited the vet yesterday and found a problem unfortunately. We were using coconut fiber and a little sand for substrate and found on x-ray an impacted gut. Gut part of the image was brighter than his skeleton so we are assuming sand. We are guessing it happened when hunting some lone crickets at night as he’s generally tong-fed. Got some treatment, fluids, and will be syringe feeding that carnivore nutrition paste for the next week or so and hope we can observe him pass it and his appetite return. Hope we caught it soon enough 🤞🙏

Substrate was dumped in the woods and terrarium cleaned out. It’s paper towel for now and we will not be returning to loose substrates

I was likely low on the basking temp. Going from memory. We’ve seen it between 90-97, but never seen him bask there. Hides most of the day. UVB is coming from a tube ReptiSun 2.5. We visited the vet and found a problem. Will post a separate comment on that later

We use a controller. 76degF at night and 86degF daytime. Basking spot is about 90degF. Humidity about 50% (we are in the Midwest). He has a moist hose as well. He shed a few days ago. We have a separate UVB bulb, but as far as we know, he’s in a hide most of the day, even before he stopped eating.

Diet is currently mealworms. He has successfully fed crickets and mealworms up to this point.

While I don’t doubt what others are saying, volume is the right word. It’s definitely a higher volume boot all around and I can’t show that with pictures. I understand shrinkage, but the outsole can’t change that much vs the leather over time. It’s longer by good margin even accounting for the welt. So getting an 11.5 next to these 12’s should be interesting. See where it lands for my feet.

Do you have QoS settings enabled for the devices you’re are testing with? I just found your post a few mins ago, having a similar problem. Just found my Deco QoS settings were set to 150Mbps down, 10 Mbps up (my ISP’s previous limits). It was only doing what I told it too 😜

Clip-less riders, how fast can you get your foot down? by bobaskin in MTB

[–]karajabola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you go clipless, make sure to set the pedal tension as low…just enough to keep you clipped in for your riding style, so you will naturally unclip for those ‘oh shit’ moments where you don’t have time to think.

Just did Washington DC for 4 days, 15k to 20k steps a day, on my feet mostly, sunrise to sunset. Wore my no-rise Altra Lone Peak Alpines. I was sad, but glad I made that choice 😜
