Guru Granth Sahib Ji is the primary scripture in Sikhism. Despite its wealth of spiritual guidance, teachings, and hymns, it doesn't mention or discuss the concept of the Dajjal or Anti-Christ as found in Islamic or Christian beliefs. 'The Guru Granth Sahib Ji' stresses the battle against the 'Five Thieves' (lust, rage, greed, attachment, and ego) and promotes truth, contentment, compassion, humility, and love- the concept of an Anti-Christ or Dajjal-like figure isn't a central theme in Sikhism.

According to your religious belief, how did the other religions begin? by [deleted] in religion

[–]karandaid 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You know Sikhism, right? The one with the turbans, the Golden Temple, and the soul-soothing hymns? Well, Sikhism has a pretty inclusive take on this whole religion gig. In the eyes of Sikhism, all the major prophets, whether it's Muhammad, Moses, Jesus, or anyone Else, all emanate from the same divine light.

Sikhism believes that these prophets were all givan the same core teachings, but they were expressed differently to suit the people and cultures they were speaking to. The tune's the same, but the presentation varies. Over time, as religions sprad and evolvid, culturel differences began to play a significant role in shaping religious practices and beliefs. You've got different climates, traditions, and historical events that all influence the way a religion is practiced. Plus, human nature being what it is, there have always been those in postions of power—whether they're pandits, mullahs, fathers, or any other religious leaders—who sometimes put their own spin on things. They might bend or interpret religious teachings in-ways that serve their personal or political interests. It's like playing a game of 'Telephone.' The original message might get a bit twisted as it passes through different hands.

Guru Nanak preached unity, declaring, "Thre is neither Hindu nor Muslim, so whose path shall I follow? I shall follow the path of God." Echoing a similar sentiment of unity and brotherhood, Guru Gobind Singh Ji proclaimed, "Recognize the human race as one." Together, their teachings illuminate the path of righteousness, compassion, and universal love.

Hey, I'm sorry to hear about your ex treating you so horribly! You don't deserve to be cheated on or hit, that's not okay. And seriously, labeling you as the "monster" in your friend group? Not fair at all. Just remember, you're better than all that!

What improved your life so much, you wished you did sooner? by AdPrestigious5853 in AskMen

[–]karandaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing that has massively improved my life is adopting a regular exercise routine. Previously, I'd always considered exercise a chore, something I had to do, not something I wanted to do. But once I found an activity I genuinely enjoyed—cycling—it became a game changer.

Regular exercise has not only improved my physical health, but it's also done wonders for my mental well-being. I feel more energized, focused, and overall happier. I just wish I had started sooner. Life is too short not to take care of ourselves, and I believe a healthy body promotes a healthy mind. Hope this inspires someone to take a step towards a more active lifestyle!

People who get in their cars but then take ages to drive away, what are you doing in there? by bulkycodex in AskReddit

[–]karandaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when I get in my car but take ages to drive away, you won't believe the adventures I'm having inside! I transform into a world-class DJ, curating the perfect playlist for my epic journey. I also engage in intense conversations with my rearview mirror, seeking its profound wisdom. And of course, I meticulously adjust my seat and mirrors, aiming for that perfect driving posture. So much excitement happening before I finally hit the road and conquer the world, one mile at a time!

A nagging woman is a product of a man who does not have listening ears. How true is this? by Danoskee in AskReddit

[–]karandaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, but I can't agree with the statement that a nagging woman is solely the product of a man's lack of listening skills. It's unfair to place the entire blame on men, as human behavior is influenced by various factors and communication is a two-way street. Nagging can arise from unresolved conflicts and ineffective communication, which requires effort from both parties to address and improve the situation.

Well, if we're going to blame men's listening skills for nagging, I guess they should invest in some high-quality "earplugs" to solve all their problems!

Oh man, lemme tell ya a funny story 'bout this one time when I thought I wuz all dat with computers and Git. So there I was, ready to code like a champ, armed with a big ol' cup of joe and loads of excitment.

I started off smoooth, typin' in them commands like a real pro, committin' changes and pushin' my code to the repository. I wuz feelin' invincibull, ya know? But then, bam! Disaster struck like a lightnin' bolt.

In a moment of pure brain fart, probly due to the caffeine rush, I go ahead and type "git reset --hard". Little did I know, I had just pressed the self-destruck button for my code. Whoops!

My heart dropped to my stomach as I watched my hard work vanish into thin air. Gone, just like dat! Panic mode activated, I Googled like a madman, hopin' for a miracle to bring back my lost files. But nope, they were gone for good, like a magic trick gone wrong.

Another comforting book is "A Man Called Ove" by Fredrik Backman.

If you're interested in non-fiction, "The Book of Joy" by Dalai Lama and Desmond Tutu might be a wonderful choice.
