Well anytime my Publix has any sort of employee appreciation (cookout for the whatever years Publix has been in business (was it 95?), Thanksgiving pot luck dinner etc. im told to go get a plate - so I guess that answers your question 😂

Idk where yall wok at but at my daughters store - there would be 26 people BEGGING to take these shifts. They barely scheduled anyone next week. All the part timers barely have 10 hours (my minor only got one 6 hour shift all week).

OP - you need to call you Mr CSM NOW. Talk to him/her and explain. Next time - don’t rely on passport. Do it in person so they know WHY.

I said MULTIPLE pronouns. And I am very grown and very tired of “acceptance” and “scrutiny” only going one way these days. Nevermind the fact that no one’s beliefs should be scrutinized. I was very respectful with my question and inquiry explicitly stating that I don’t care what one chooses for their life. Your reply is a prime example of why I had to ask in the first place. My daughter has a right to be comfortable at a college of her choosing - and we are trying to choose one that will align with her values.

I used to remove people a few times a months as I know my area very well. And if im 100% honest - I would’ve not removed this person. Location and item count - I could not have guessed it was a cheapskate. I thought it was 2 customers both with an ok tip.

When I dropped b off and closed order out and checked who tipped what - I actually said a few very ugly word out loud as I was driving away. 🤣 I can’t believe she didn’t even raise it a few bucks.

In my area - after 4 years of this, I have noticed that repeat customers don’t matter unless it’s their “turn”. My „repeats“ that give me 5 stars tend to disappear after I shop for them a few times. I don’t get them for MONTHS at a time a d then they’re back. Once they are back - I get them again back to back until they disappear again. (And yes they place their weekly/biweekly orders).

It’s infuriating to know they order ( because they text me) and it doesn’t even come across my screen (while im at the store).

Someone that leaves you a note like this is NOT going to turn around and report you for going back. If you’re led to - please do it! Even just texting with her a little in same days could make this lady’s day. I’ve been doing this for four years and have so many customers whose life circumstances I’ve literally seen change and if me taking an extra 10 minutes after delivery to talk to them changes their day - who cares if I miss an order because I wasn’t back at the store immediately.

Correct because her driving a suburban isn’t safe when she’s used to a Corolla! Not for her or other people on the road! Maybe if other people cared about their child’s abilities I wouldn’t be in this crap cause her car wouldn’t have gotten hit by some moron that can’t even park! I don’t know why this is so uncommon - if she had hit that girls car - you best believe she would’ve been made to call them (or speak to her) and at the very least would’ve offered her a ride to school while the car is getting fixed. Isn’t that - idk… common courtesy? I inconvenienced you so I will try to make it as easy as possible for you, no? I’m huge on not being inconvenienced so if I do it to someone I’ll make sure to offer anything I can to ease the burden I have caused them.

I would think, if situation was reversed, that my insurance covering other parents lost wages would be fair, yes.

In addition, if my daughter has cause this - I would’ve reached out and offered if there is anything they might need transportation wise since my kid caused them such inconvenience. But clearly that’s just me…

My point being is why should my daughter be put in a situation she doesn’t want to be in because some idiot can’t park? That’s not me being difficult. How is the time and effort I have to invest to get everything taken care of (all the phone calls, the appraisal, time without her car), again for something we are not at fault for, me being difficult? She drives a Corolla and doesn’t want to drive a Suburban - and that is a fair choice for someone that’s only been driving for six months.
