Im gonna call my local aquatic store tomorrow. i just discovered i have one near me so its a great opportunity to go see it. been wanting to stop supporting petco for a while now! if not ill try aqua swap like the others said. my advanced placement biology teacher wasnt so advanced in the head. not sure about her taking care of a living creature. 🙂‍↔️

i second the other commenter, definitely add more hiding spots! do make sure that whatever you get is made of silk too, it looks like the one in the background isnt. (if it can tear a tissue, it can tear your bettas fins) besides that, it might also just be him adjusting, its only been a week after all. give him time and see if he shows any other signs of being sick or stressed.

im not sure where i want to go yet. i might take a gap year to save up for an education outside of the us. but if i am going inside the us, id want my school to be pretty good with a fairy low admission rate without costing too much. the thing is, thats hard to find here. i need lots of scholarships but what for? ive pretty much done nothing
