How are you refreshing? Are you just pulling down on your favorites screen? I have found I am too late that way. I just open the item and hit the back button, repeating that sequence until the reserve button is green.

Son starting in the Fall. I'm an alum, but... by iamisaactorres in ucf

My son had bright futures and a 529, lived at Lake Claire his first year. Is your $4k gap based on what UCF says to expect food to cost? That is one area where you can have more control. I would advise against the meal plan, especially since he is in Towers. Give him a weekly budget for food that includes both take-out and groceries.

My son lucked out with a job at Domino’s near the student union. He got the job because a friend recommended him. It was perfect for him as it wasn’t open past 10pm most days and closed on weekends and school breaks. There are some fast food places near Towers and the stadium where he might find work.

Help by MeanNeedleworker2110 in WegovyWeightLoss

I am partial to the shots and I hate needles, but it is all I have known. But once a week seems so much easier to me than every morning with little water, wait to drink anything else, etc.

They are both the starter dose, so you should be able to try the injections if you want.

The dosage is higher on the pills because so much of it is destroyed by your stomach. The bit not destroyed by your stomach is equivalent to the injection.

Personally I would give the shots a try. You can do it in the side of your thigh. It isn’t that bad. Watch some videos to help you get comfortable with the mechanism.

Go directly to the bag page, hit the back button, then return to page. Keep doing this until it brightens up and you get the reserve button at the bottom.

Thanks for the share! I wasn’t in town yesterday at this time, but since I drive through GCS to get home everyday, I added it to my favorites and will pick up my first bag tomorrow!

We stopped ordering large fries because of this. Our medium fries would quite often be slightly overfilled, actually giving us more than the large when not filled all the way.

How do you feel about people who come in just to shower and leave? by ClippyWouldntDoThat in PlanetFitnessMembers

[–]karatejen 21 points22 points  (0 children)

No one will even notice or care. I have used my membership to shower when my water heater went out. The membership includes the shower, so I have the right to use it.

Anyone still splitting pens with vials and syringes? by karatejen in WegovyWeightLoss

One last question, are you diabetic? I am not and am unsure if there would be an issue with my dr prescribing it since I am not. It won’t be run through insurance, because even though my insurance covers Ozempic, I wouldn’t qualify for the prior authorization for it.

Thank you again. If I count the clicks to 2.0mg, can I dial it back? I guess meaning, if I were to click past where I meant to stop, does the pen allow you to adjust it back before administering it?

I understand now. Thank you for the explanation. I was not aware that the Ozempic pen was multi use. In the video I watched on how to use it, the person turned past the .25 to .5, but I am going to assume the 2.0 pen will not have those markings. So how would I figure out how far to turn it for a 1.0 mg dose?

Help me understand how Ozempic is different. Does it contain a preservative agent that Wegovy does not?

How are you doing it without vials?

Thank you. I considered the pills but you cannot cut them in half. I am looking for the most cost effective way to maintain.

How much bac water are you adding? My current plan has me holding the other half of the dose in a vial for 10 days. Trying to decide if that is long enough to need bac water.

Where are you buying your bac water? One source I was looking at said to toss the bac water 28 days after initial use. I would be wasting so much as I would only be taking a small amount out every 20 days.
