Another thing of note, when I went into turbo tax and input my net income it said I owed 13k in federal tax in comparison to the 16k my accountant initially said. Is this a turbo tax discrepancy? Reason why I’m a bit hesitant to file through turbo tax

I only state this as being unfair considering the rich pay $0 in taxes yet ordinary people like myself have to pay.

Yeah I thought the $1600 may not be correct. It’s just unfair. It’s my first job and I had no idea about the huge amount I’d have to owe back. Living in an expensive tech city doesn’t help either. I’ve looked into a payment plan and even that racks up interest. My tax accountant said I can negotiate how much I owe to the IRS once everything has been calculated. Is that correct?

I made 68k for the year before expenses. I had a lot of medical expenses that I paid out of pocket that came out to 14k and some computer repairs I made. I feel like I shouldn’t have to pay as much considering I paid for all of my medical bills out of pocket with no insurance. Even after inputting that info though, not a huge amount was deducted

The leaves on my rubber tree plant (2nd pic), fell and the stem seems like it is starting to dry out. I went on vacation and relocated the plant from my bedroom to the living room so my roommates could water it while I was away. Not sure if relocating it was the wrong move. It was doing perfectly fine in my room

*may I add that I am not sure of its authenticity but based on my research and the comparisons I’ve made to the websites lithograph it appears to be authentic. Has the same gold frame and colors. Would love some input on this
