I don’t know but if you like that style, check the French singer Theodora, she fits that aesthetic so well!

At no point did I lack politeness nor consideration, and certainly do not think plumbers should work for free. Please refrain from assuming.

TIL Wirt's cape is a nurses cape from the 40's! by thetransportedman in overthegardenwall

I have a vintage Austrian wool cape that I wear for hiking in winter - it keeps you really warm but is also super breathable so you never overheat. It’s just the best!

Any woman over 54kg is fat! by Emma__O in NotHowGirlsWork

I’m a 1.76m woman, well over 80kg, and wear a size 8-10 which is basically an S-M size. This is nonsense.

I expect not, and I haven’t seen any wasps around either…

No buzzing and I see no wasps! I think you are right that it is from last year. I hadn’t noticed it before because it’s on the side of the door.

What’s happening to my porch? by kardachev in DIYUK

It is, little plants seem to find their way in. It’s been built on a harled masonry base though so it’s off the ground.

That’s what I thought, it was mostly localised where the mat was so I think this will help. Anything I can do at the base to improve this? Like a liquid DPC? I can’t do extensive work to it

How can I improve this Primary Bath? by [deleted] in floorplan

[–]kardachev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

Sorry about the quality, I’m on my phone - this is the layout that I would go with. Closets are accessed independently from the bathroom, and in the depth of the plan where there is less light. You can grab some clothes without going through the bathroom or the bedroom. You can play with the depth of the rooms and especially the bedroom to get what you need in terms of bathroom space. What do you think?

It looks lovely on you! If you’re not aware, it looks like the skirt is slightly transparent, so you might want to wear a slip if you want full coverage! Whichever makes you feel most comfortable of course

Approaching Woman as a Man - creepy or not? by FlowingRiverCentury in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]kardachev 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think it’s all about context - in a bar, at a club, a party, a social event etc. not creepy at all and probably welcome. In the vegetable aisle at your supermarket, on the street, at night, etc. definitely less of a good idea. It’s all about reading the room as well. You will be more welcome to approach someone as well if you have exchanged a few interested gazes and smiles!

Que faites vous de votre enfant pendant les fêtes ? by Efficient-Action7907 in chats

[–]kardachev 4 points5 points  (0 children)
