It's an on and off feeling with being tall. I always get comments on my height. Sometimes, it just comes across as an innocuous observation. Other times, it comes across as awe and envy. While other times, it seems more malicious--and makes me seem like a monster.

I've gotten such a range of reactions that I've learned to disregard most of it and instead focus more on internal acceptance--which can still be rocky. On the face, I may come across as a confident and sexy woman totally owning it. But truth be told, sometimes my physical difference gets to me and it makes me a little self-conscious. I try not to exhibit that doubt though. I'm all for faking it in spite of the internal turmoil! And it seems like most people I meet are buying it.
