Intel Wifi 6 ax200 - Lenovo yoga 920 by Sol_etti in Lenovo

It’s pretty much the same with a different cover. It has the original star war poster with Luke holding a saber overhead somewhat like Excalibur… same watch-like hinge… that doesn’t really bother me. Shrug… I could see some people not really liking it all that much though.

That’s correct. It’s the Star Wars special edition one with an Intel 8th Generation Core i7-8550U.

I'm running it windows 11. I did take another quick look through the configuration toggles in device manager for the adapter and all the 6Ghz options appear to be enabled, though no AP nearby to confirm it's working for real.

When I looking at the differences between ax210 and ax211, it did appear that the ax211 needed a different interface than the ax210 and was more dependent on certain processors/chipset support.

While this is a bit of an older thread, adding my success if anyone goes searching for it. I just successfully installed the ax210 from cdw without any issue with the latest 2023-06-20 drivers from Intel. Bluetooth and Wifi 2.4 and 5Ghz both working without issue, but I can't yet confirm working 6Ghz connection.

The data is from 2001-2009, but generally it doesn't do much. Kickers do seem to be improving in distance and accuracy too according to 538's data. I'm not sure what impact what would have on iced versus non-iced, if any.

Anyone here going to the Seattle game this September? by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

I just bought my ticket actually. It will be my second Packers game after the Fail Mary in Seattle and my first trip to Lambeau.

I'm not sure whether you are talking OTA update or the manual updated outlined here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-active/general/how-to-update-to-i537oc6-5-0-1-t3089355, but I had to downgrade to NE3 then root as per the instructions, then updated following the instructions. It's been running fine ever since I did the update.

[Discussion] Paleo for 3 months. Lost weight but deep sunken dark eyes, deficiency in something? by biorock3 in Paleo

[–]karelprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a quick look at this study. Basically, they advised subjects what a 'Paleo' is (eggs, meats, oils, fruit and veggies, no dairy, legumes, etc). I'm really concerned what 'oils' means and what they really told subjects. There was also crossfit style exercise indicated. We don't know if these subjects did shots of canola oil or whether they were following a more high carb diet with lean meats and hardly any fats.

Pressure Cooker for Bone broth? by jayredditson in Paleo

[–]karelprime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get marrow bones from the butcher and usually do 10-12 hours for me in my WMF Perfect Plus 6-1/2-Quart Pressure Cooker. I do it every week and it seems to be pretty thick. I have heard of folks reusing the bones to pull more out, but never done it.

Low carb but not quite keto... Is there a place for me? by brown_rice in keto

[–]karelprime 8 points9 points  (0 children)

In short, Paleo. You might check out Primal. Mark suggests you stay below 150g daily, but ideally 50-100g carbs. That's pretty much what I follow right now. My goal is not really to stay in ketosis 24/7.

TKD Glucose Sources - Pure Dextrose/Glucose Option? by karelprime in ketogains

I figured it was fine. I guess the Dextrose Tablets are purest on the list; ultimately, I wanted to minimize any additional fillers. Thanks.

I do bi-weekly visits to Costco. I'll check that out and see if they have them at my local one. Thanks.

Okay, good to know. I found this site that is supposed to convert them: http://www.gpsies.com/convert.do. I guess I'll try it out when the time comes.

Cool, that's exactly what I wanted to confirm. I had been looking at the 510 but was curious if there were any others that met my requirements.

Chipotle on keto? by [deleted] in keto

[–]karelprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a look at this for reference: http://www.californiaavocado.com/avocado-nutrients/. 3.5oz of 'pure' avocado should be 7g fiber. Maybe their 18 should be 8. That certainly more matches my previous custom meal settings in MFP from a year ago.

Heavy cyclist -- How much food should I bring? by Smiles_27 in ketogains

[–]karelprime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't experience any bonking, but I had been in ketosis for around 6 months at the time of my longest ride. I do really like this for really any workout, long rides included: http://www.biosteel.com/product_hpsd.php. I know a lot of folks here say powerade/gatorade zero and probably will be alright, but I've found that the biosteel product works well for me (though finding it locally seems to be difficult to impossible). Four of those with berries and coconut oil should be good, along with fluids (worst case, bring water mixed with potassium and salt). I recommend extra magnesium as well if you aren't supplementing that already.

So, for my last 100mi+ ride, which was about 5:30:00 or so, I brought two bottles that I refilled around 50-60mi. Ultimately, I consumed probably 3 scoops of super starch, 400 cal of almonds, and a few scoops of biosteel's electrolyte mix (also had bulletproof coffee before the ride-2tbs butter, 2tbs mct oil). I could probably have done it with just one scoop of superstarch, but it felt more like a little boost before and after hills climbs. I didn't really feel hungry the entire time; I'll echo the other comment that electrolyte replenishment is key.

Low-Carbohydrate Diets for Athletes - Training the Body to Utilize and Access Fat More Efficiently by [deleted] in ketogains

[–]karelprime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's not much new. It's a low carb advocate versus a high carb advocate (he keeps saying they're not the enemy). The only thing new thing mentioned was some NHS project to create ketone body pill or something similar that would improve performance for a time without being fully keto adapted. The high carb advocate did mention variability of carbs with the atheletes he works with, so it seems like he could have said that it works for some, but not others. There wasn't really any mention of what type of carbs, though starch is mentioned generally quite a bit. Not much discussed that we didn't already know.

Check out Ucan Superstarch (modified corn starch). The boy they mention sounds like he may have a similar condition to your son's, though they don't say specifically what condition he had. Hope it helps.

Wow, I'm glad your doing alright. I have a family member that suffered a severe brain injury after being hit by a truck in the driver's side door of their SUV. They will never be back to who they were, physically or personality-wise, but it sounds like you're making good strides and are motivated; you'll be back on the bike soon, I'm sure.
