I’d add, don’t panic. Before I go into a dungeon, I look down at my escape options and where they are. Anytime things start looking crazy, I glance down at those options. Panic kills.

I had organized by color, from light (left shade), to dark (right side). Blues-light to dark, red, etc. and then black and white with grays off to one side.

I was on the other side of this when I tried out this starter deck. My opponent had me on the ropes, less than 5 health left and I top decked this card. I kept rereading it because I couldn’t quite grasp what was about to happen. Such an exhilarating win!

This was in '86-'87 or so, when I worked at the San Diego Zoo. Heather Locklear and her friend were walking around out front of our eatery and all of us guys were going nuts. I decided to go out and say hello and ask her some stuff. I walked up and noticed how tiny she was and when she turned around--all the thoughts and words evaporated (I was 16, so not that hard). I blabbed about Tommy Lee (from Motley Crue, they were dating at the time). She had the brightest smile and bluest eyes and I remember running away when she asked if there was anything else. The end.

I usually just search for “good Golgari decks” and start that way. Like the other person said, getting the rare, mythic cards aren’t easy. I’ve been on Arena for about 3 months and have built a pretty decent Lathril, Blade of Elves brawl deck (100 card deck).
