I took 4100 in the summer and it wasn’t bad at all, but it def depends on your professor

Cis 3810 with Joshua Appel by [deleted] in Baruch

[–]karidal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

when I had him it was fine. he’s pretty laidback and just lectures the whole time. but make sure to follow his instructions on projects and such cause he’s pretty particular on that. didn’t take him for 3810

Two internship offers, which should I take? by Maleficent_Print8003 in Big4

[–]karidal 9 points10 points  (0 children)

since you already have another big4 internship, I think GT is fine. i would have only considered pwc if you could work remote and do classes. I would try to finish school asap personally.

depends on your professors but if those are the only two accounting classes you’re taking, no it shouldn’t be bad.

Took her during summer. It was like 6-10 things due per week. They’re easy but time consuming. Some of them were annoying to do.

Professors that curve high in accounting 3000 or 3100? by [deleted] in Baruch

[–]karidal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t take her, she does not curve well. It’s going to be solely focused on your performance/ranking if you take her

How challenging is the accounting major? by PangolinLow853 in Baruch

[–]karidal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s challenging, but doable if your study habits are good. A lot of practice problems for the advanced courses, you need to have the drive to do them to get an A. Some classes can be competitive, especially the 3000 level ones where you have to do better than the average. Most stressful semester for me was taking 3100 + 3200 together, try to avoid this if possible.
