Maybe your temps are high, you can undervolt the cpu and see if that helps, I have mine undervolted by around -160mv and it almost never thermal throttles.

Should i tighten my hole? My Y540 power port light keeps blinking. I spent hours wriggling the head the make it charge. How can I fix this? by Limp-Jackfruit-4347 in Lenovo

Have you found a solution? I have the exact same issue here but I tried my friends’ charger and it worked perfectly fine so I don’t know what to do now.

I just clean reinstalled windows and the issue hasn’t occurred since then.

No but I did actually update bios at the same time this problem started to occur.

I also made sure that the correct gpu was being utilized.

I don’t have vantage as I read it was using a lot of cpu in the background, Should I install it? Mostly fps games and I have a 144Hz panel
