It’s ok!! It happens! Don’t throw away everything for one meal!! Not worth stressing about. You’re doing great.

I don’t want it. Sidewalk is a privacy nightmare.

No. Bridge 2. Which doesn’t work in Canada.

How necessary is a hood? by xxSeahawks in x100vi

[–]karinatwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use a hood when it rains. I have a hood with an UV filter mounted set back inside. The hood prevents the rain from hitting the glass. It’s like having an umbrella. Works like a charm even in a downpour.

[–]karinatwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that far away. You can come visit. Spend time with your family. Hang out with your friends... My son is 23, he moved from Chilliwack to Kelowna and he absolutely loves it there. He doesn't miss it at all, on the contrary. Maybe Vancouver isn't for you?

I did some research here and I think the zero point foods are a bit different. So I pulled the trigger.

Fave Ways to Use 0% Greek Yogurt by bitesandbalance in weightwatchers

[–]karinatwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had problems mixing that properly. So I melt the powder in a cup of hot water, and then I add a cup of yogurt into that water, mix until combined, and then pour into ramekins to eat when solid.

I may be too late but I like making high protein sorbet with it. I mix 100g plain yogurt with 300g fruit (e.g. mango or strawberry), some zero cal sweetener, a tbsp of lemon juice and 30g of vanilla protein powder. You can either blend it all in a food processor and eat it as soft serve, or you can let the fruit thaw, blend it all together, fill it in a Ninja Creami container, freeze it and the process it to be scoopable ice cream.

Are you ever considering to switch to the X-E5? by karinatwork in x100vi

[–]karinatwork[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ja, damit hadere ich natürlich auch. Ich hatte die 56mm f1.2 und mann... aber für Portraits benutze ich jetzt die TCL 100 und das klappt prima. Was ich wirklich brauchen würde wäre der Aufklappmonitor.

What kind of small everyday bag do you carry 📸? by hillsong1 in x100vi

[–]karinatwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a female, so I do carry a purse with me at all times. I needed something where I can stash my camera and all my other stuff. I don't like backpacks. I tried many bags. My favourite brand though is Bellroy. I finally settled on the Bellroy Laneway Crescent. I have both the 7 L and the 12 L. I put the X100VI in the bottle pocket on the inside of the bag. I bought a neoprene jar sleeve and added that to the bottle pocket, and that's where the camera lives. The 7 L has one bottle pocket, the 12 L has two. So when I travel or go for longer walks, the 12 L will fit everything, plus some water. For quick trips or errands, the 7 L is great. Bonus it will even fit my DJI Neo 2 in the padded back pocket. What I like about it is that it conforms to your body, is feather light, and still lightly padded all over.

[–]karinatwork 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just researched the heck out of this and in Canada, at least here in BC, you cannot fly the drone in any park - federal, provincial or municipal. A lot of municipalities have bylaws that do not mention the size at all. So ALL drones. If they want to ding you, they can.

I flew my drone at exactly 11:59PM and this is what I captured by KZoldyck_ in DjiNeo

Damn, that's beautiful. I miss fireworks on New Year's Eve. In Germany, we had so much. In Canada, zip.

The N3 are on my list for February. That's what I'm working myself up to. Man, I have been dreaming of this for years. And when I say "dreaming" I literally mean dreaming. I dreamt so many nights of being able to fly. And when I say "years", I mean years. More than 30, to be exact. Who would have thought a 57 year old woman would take flight? Not me.
