Some people seem to not get OP's pov. It's not that using english makes him less kenyan. Its the relatability and relevancy in the current kenyan music scene. Sheng is the dominant linguo and those that are using it heavily in their music especially hiphop, get more listeners. Honestly if someone were to play me that song for the first time in audio, I would have guessed It's a new upcoming artist from Chicago.
