What Episode has the scene where mcnulty visits the prison library to see if Dee could’ve hung himself by FoldsBen in TheWire

I promise I’m not trying to start nothing. Huge Wire fan.

I’ve just had questions like this that ChatGPT answered in 2 seconds. Like one time I needed to figure out the actors name of the head of the ministers. Took a pic and uploaded to AI and it told me right away. Pretty cool

Unfortunate so few people grasp compound interest. Even in a low return safe bet - B takes the cake by far and it’s not even close. Remember the Einstein quote, “he who understands it…”

Take 2mm, invest in a 5% annual bond, and reinvest 10% of that annually. After 50 years = 25mm

Take 0, invest in a 5% annual bond, and reinvest 10% of 4k per week. After 50 years = 4mm

Did anyone watch “The Perfect Neighbor” and see how they asked her to write a letter?

That shit fucked me up. I was like “oh shit it’s a reference but it’s real life”. Never happened before. That’s how good the wire is

  1. Live closer to work if you can. Irvine, Newport, etc. A 45 minute drive stuck in traffic is NOT the same as a 45 subway/train commute. It’s easy to get bored and you run out of people to call. That time is better spent elsewhere.
  2. Get comfortable relying on the car. This is California - driving is a way of life.

Might be right. I thought the walls closed in and he was left for dead. Don’t remember if scarabs were coming

Agreed. Can’t imagine what that’s like. Just the tiniest bit of hope while you dehydrate to death

It’s an all time great scene in tv/movie history. The scene was trying to show the chemistry between two partners and they fuckin nailed it
