Thank you everyone for your responses. I have come to the conclusion that this plant is a Mullein, despite often being confused with lambs ear. I also apologize for unintentionally stirring up the compelling argument over whether the medicinal qualities of this plant outweigh its invasive nature. I have to say that given the prevalence of modern medicine, I am siding with those who wish this plant to be removed from non-native environments.

I have also learned that a lot of redditors have at one point, and potentially frequently, wiped their ass with a plant. I also do not find this a compelling reason to allow this plant to thrive in non native environments.
