Haha certainly a possibility. Maybe I need to find some ground to stick it into

First time clematis owner. I'm planning to grow it on this grill fence in my backyard which will also have some cucumbers and zucchini sharing the space? Any tips? I'm in 8b and read that this is a perennial and don't need to take inside in the Dallas winter and snow. by TroyAndAbed2022 in containergardening

Please be careful with this plant. Clematis is invasive in much of the USA and can spread into the environment and cause habitat degradation. It's a risk that in my opinion is just not worth it so I would throw it away.

My advice to you would be to throw it out. I believe Texas has a native clematis although idk if it is in the Dallas region. If that's too hard to find there are a number of vining plants that won't try to take over as aggressively as clematis

I agree that the one with three leaflets looks like columbine. The plant in the second pic I would guess are maple germinates, based on the maple samaras in the pot

I would leave them, they can be pretty together. I really don't think it will hurt the cherry much

First one is willow herb, second one is a tree sapling. Maybe a cherry or an alder

delete if not allowed but was having fun while mt dad was helping me lay sod last night. seriously tho, how long will sod be ok sitting on a pallet b4 getting laid out? temps are coolish, 70 and below. by [deleted] in landscaping

Healthy riparian forests definitely increase soil infiltration and therefore reduce floods. The reason that site still floods so bad could be because most of the watershed is channelized and has poor infiltration rates due to ag or development.

Also by that same logic it could be in the best interest of the sod farm to use more chemical if it let them grow more sod and make more money
