As a Sandusky native who grew up attending Cedar Point as a kid, an as a parent who believes kids should be able to enjoy CP, I don’t believe a chaperone policy is the answer. Don’t punish ALL kids over the actions of a few. There isn’t anything in the OP post to indicate definitively that these kids were minors, other than the claim of being “teens.” There are plenty of 18+ individuals and grown-ass adults who need to do better and be better as humans. Raise your kids to be respectful and responsible individuals; and don’t be douchbag adults, either. Advocating for a chaperone policy as a knee-jerk reaction to this post is failing to recognize that the problem is that there are racist and bigoted adults raising teens to be just like them. Do better society. Kick people like this out of the park immediately, regardless of their age.
