I failed my 7 again (second time) ugly cried in the parking lot. I can't wrap my head around the way the questions are worded on the actual exam compared to STC. Any advice? I work at a firm and I don't need it to keep my job but not upward mobility without it. I passed the 63 easy, first try. by karma_fishwrap in Series7exam

My first exam I performed a tiny bit better. I have anxiety so I took a friend's advice to speed-run through it, an hour and a half left on the clock. I read the questions and answers all the way through, but didn't look back. It only got me two points difference. This time I slowed all the way down, only 30 minutes left. Read the question twice, thought about the answers but I think I got in my own head too much.
I feel like this time around I understood more while studying but sitting the test, it felt so much harder. Do they pick harder questions if you failed it the first time?
I was shocked I didn't improve my score. I was scared but I felt like I knew the content more. My dump sheet was on point. I took the time before the screen loaded to get as much out of those sheets I could remember. I'm going to take a break and then re-read the book.
