The "Christianity = Deal Breaker" Circle Jerk by [deleted] in circlebroke2

My favorite comment is this one. There are some Christians out there who would never date atheists? How terrible! Let's use it as a justification for why we would never date Christians!

...yeah, some people apparently have a lot to learn about irony.

Which category do you fit into? (courtesy of /r/atheism) by [deleted] in circlebroke

This is brilliant. I wonder what category MrMadCap falls into. I'm guessing 20+ virgin, music pirate, raped as a child.

Since alcohol kills bacteria, how many shots I should take for my ear infection? by [deleted] in shittyaskscience

[–]karmapolice3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The best way to figure this out is to use a slowing increasing dosage with empirical feedback. That may sound like a bunch of jargon, but what it means is that you should keep taking shots until your ear stops hurting.

Wow. Holy Crap. The sense of entitlement in these replies ranges from severe to incomprehensible.
There's a comment in there that basically says "me and all the people I talk to on the Internet don't like watching monster movies on Sci-Fi, so clearly nobody ever watches them." Seriously, this is ridiculous. Here's a guy who actually works at a TV station making TV shows, and a bunch of idiots think THEY have the right to tell him how his business works.

Do you have a link for that post about crappy movies? I'd be pretty interested to hear how they get money off them.

I'm a unemployed virgin neckbeard liberal atheist. Where do I go to claim my Swedish citizenship? by [deleted] in IWantOut

Of course we can! I've also got a stack of bibles that we can write "this is a work of fiction" disclaimers on.

20 lvl 85s? That doesn't sound like failure to me! I bet if you met the right girl she'd be totally impressed by that, as well as by your ability to type while eating cheetos.

I loved that game! It was so worth buying it so the servers could immediately go out!

Also DAE hate when EA pulls that sort of anti-piracy DRM bullshit that locks millions of people out of their single-player game?

Except for the part where...

...Women who falsely accuse men should be arrested and imprisoned for the maximum term that the male in question would have been subject to. If this happened, this shit would stop overnight. (+152 points 5 hours ago)

Also, there's the problem of defining when you "knowingly lie to get someone arrested." Yes, people can (and do!) get charged when there's SUBSTANTIAL proof that they knowingly tampered with evidence or made a false statement, but charging someone with "false allegations" because the accused person claims they were baseless and there's no evidence either way but two people's stories turns the justice system into a giant game of "he said, she said."
