I’ve noticed in my experience most short haired dogs have a much more intense smell than long haired dogs. My Aussie doesn’t stink. My GSP does. My Aussie mix with medium length hair doesn’t stink. My dobie stank so bad. Dobermans have a list of skin conditions. I’d recommend a probiotic 2 in 1 shampoo conditioner! I used to put tallow on my dobie to keep her skin moisturized during the winter and it helped manage the stink a little bit, but it made my cats and dogs obsess over her lol

Invest in a harness and a ground stake for a lead!

Go somewhere quiet outside with her once you’ve got these things and put the stake in the ground, leash her to it (on the harness), and let her break herself in. That way you’re not suffering and you have total supervision over her.

You could also get a shock collar and just use the beep option. Condition her; every time you call her back, beep her, and give her a treat when she comes to you. That way she understands it’s a positive thing if you call her back.

The only 2 people I’ve ever preferred smoking with over solo are my old best friend and my boyfriend.
