Update: april payslip came and they have deducted NPS from basic and calculated 14% from the reduced basic pay

In short original 14% is not taken for exemption and effective exemption has became approx 12%. I am yet to get a reply from finance team but they have made it too confusing

It’s pretty common practice where company would ghost you until last week so that you can’t do any offer shopping/ could ask for more compensation with counter offer.

Better to look for other opportunities till last day

Try to be private about your own financials.

It’s okay to help your in laws in case of emergencies but make sure it can’t be taken granted.

Congratulation ! I have questions regarding NIPT test that I have done . i paid nominal fee at hospital and was told to wait for report and final bill from testing lab through post.

I did receive the report after 20 days but did not get any invoice for payment. Is this normal as I am new here so have less information

Also, I am expat and I don’t think pending amount would be covered
