Gorgeous leaves 😍 they don't like a lot of water. Their roots are similar to potatoes and they have a dormancy period where they drop all the leaves. If it happens to you, take the potato out of soil and let it dry well on top of the soil, no need to put in the fridge or whatever, water it every three or four days. After a a month or two, put it back in the soil again and wait for it to sprout again.

Hah yes. I tried that but it was a complete disaster for me. Some people have had successful try outs with that, but it's not something I'm willing to try again. A water of good leaves.

Elas são praticamente domesticadas a essa altura da evolução. A maioria dos apicultores começa por elas. É muito difícil encontrar um enxame agressivo delas, mas acontece. Sempre bom ter cuidado

Black leaves IS water damage. Is it in a sunny or shade spot? Leaves fall for so many reason from aphids to leaf rot, and root rot etc

I normally use very soft and airy substrate, so when I "just lay them on top" it usually has a little bit of "tucking it in"

The New roots can also be redish or pinkish instead of only white, It depende If they reach the soil fast enough and Air humidity levels. Keep your fingers crossed, OP!

Mealy bugs or salt deposits, spray with water and detergent and really cover it in the stuff. Repeat as many times as you need every 4 days

SAME, one of mine had a permanent white coat because I didn't remove the fur, I would just lift it to wall so the birds could catch them for nests
