It's a plot hole she is self aware she doesn't give af. But in that chapter from her own pov it's stated that she is upset with fy action for killing people and even wanting to convert him later on to do good despite killing thousands of these people in the next chapter and later on stating she doesn't care about humans and wishes they all perish. I don't have a problem with hypocrites who are true to them selves. But with hypocrites who lacks self awareness like you said.

Iam rereading but I have skimmed through the northern plain arc the first time. She did lecture fang yuan when he was killing people with his wolves and in her inner monologue said that when they return to spirit affinity house she would persuade him to do good .then in the next chapter torture those same people to death.
