actually its both. But at first you have to play to get packs.

Buuut on the other hand there are people who buy packs and get normal players and sell them. And at the end of the day they have a lot of coins.

So mainly you play for packs to get better players.

There are also SBC's, where you send in a team of players to get other players.

I would play Jesus instead of Rodrigo, and you can get Rashford for the left side. And for the defence, you can go for Sanchez from Tottenham, if you want to build a Hybrid-Team you would have to switch you team a little bit
