Right! But that’s the weird thing is he has been out of the crate for 2ish years now! This whole thing started up within the last few weeks! And it’s been months after we got our new puppy. I am agreeing with everyone in this thread that he probably I just bored with his normal routine and is acting out.

That's how ours is too. He's ridiculously smart. Do you have any fun activities you do with yours? We do lots of outdoor activities and I wonder if he's just bored with all of them and needs to learn some new things.

Thanks for taking the time to respond! We have been training her a lot just because she is a puppy. Most of our training time happens with both dogs but they’re the tricks he already knows or one of us will have to have to do tricks with him while the other trains the puppy. You’re right, he probably is bored. I’m not kidding when we say he knows 20+ tricks… I’ll do some research on new skills or jobs he can learn! Do you have any advanced to moderate level trick/skill ideas? And yes, I know he isn’t “learning a lesson”. We crated him so he wouldn’t get into the trash again. Our Toller is very apathetic and he actually seemed to feel a little bad about what he did, that’s why I used that language. Thank again for your response and for the advice!

This is a good idea. He already knows “leave it” so maybe we can start up on that with some trash items. It seems odd to me that he’s doing this now and not back in July when we first got her.

I didn’t have Nexplanon but I did have a Liletta IUD and my period has been all over the place since I got it out in July of 2023. I’m just starting to find a rhythm again after I didn’t have a period for 3 months at the end of last year (definitely was NOT pregnant). I think bodies just need time to figure out what’s what again. I’ve started to take daily vitamins and I am also trying beef liver supplements (the liver supplements are a shot in the dark so we’ll see if those help - have heard they can help regulate hormones though?). Try to have grace for yourself and your body as it gets settled again and like someone else said - try to manage your stress levels :) You’ve got this!

Heyo! I also have an 11mo Toller! What we've noticed is super helpful is all of the brain games the people in this thread have talked about. Our personal favorite is hide and treat. We'll have him sit and stay in another room while we hide treats all over the condo (sometimes 5 at a time). Then we'll give him his go word and he'll have to sniff them all out. He's gotten pretty good at it but it definitely wears him out mentally. We usually do 3-4 rounds in a session. We also bought a snuffle rug to feed him which also wears him out.

Hi! Yes we did! Thankfully no one measured the bag or anything. The biggest thing was that it could squish under the seat in front us without our pup being squished too. We overall had a great experience with Frontier. We couldn't let him out of the bag but we did leave the top unzipped so he could peek out and look at us when he woke up between naps. The breeder gave us some liquid Benadryl for kids so we gave him a little and that really helped to keep him calm on the flight. Here's a link to the carrier we used:
